About Katie

Inspired by the natural world

Having moved to Utah after earning a bachelor’s degree, plants, minerals, canyons, and mountains have become the inspiration for many of Katie’s paintings. In an age where humanity is at a crossroads with climate change, Katie hopes to turn her audience’s attention towards the wonder and importance of preserving the natural world.

Art Background

Katie graduated from Indiana University in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art, with a focus on painting and sculpture. From 2013 to 2017 she taught hundreds of acrylic painting classes to people of all ages. She has spent thousands of hours mastering her craft in her adult life after being passionate about creating since childhood.
